Zarboth is first of all an unclassifiable duo Etienne Gaillochet : drums singing and Phil Reptil : guitar
Since they idolize labels they describe themselves as Proto-noise, crypto-rap or Mainstream-Experimental. Since their third album they are in a trio with Macdara Smith: performer, painter, trumpet player, rapper. Thanks to him the concerts have taken a style close to a happening.
